Items We Don't Accept
Not all items sell well, or can legally be sold on eBay. Here is a partial list of items that we do not accept for sale:
- Bathroom Fixtures: We don’t accept sinks, toilets,
or tubs that weigh more than 150 pounds or exceed 160 inches in girth.
- CDs, VHS and cassette tapes, paperback books,
textbooks: These generally don’t sell very well on eBay.
- Damaged Clothing: We don’t accept anything that is
not laundered, stained, torn or smells of smoke.
- Costume Jewelry: Unless it’s vintage or by a well
known designer.
- Furniture and Appliances: We don’t accept items
that weigh more than 150 pounds or exceed 160 inches in girth. If the item is valued at $500 or more, our Large Item
Service can be utilized.
- Hazardous Material: We don’t accept fuel, motor
oil, aerosol cans or pressurized tanks.
- Fire Arms: We don’t accept guns, gun parts, or
ammunition.
- Large Art: We don’t accept framed art (under glass)
that’s larger than 11”X14” unless it is valued at a minimum of $500.
- Large Equipment: We don’t accept items that weigh
more than 150 pounds or exceed 160 inches in girth. If the item is valued at $500 or more, our Large Item
Service can be utilized.
- Lingerie: Unless it’s vintage (1970s or earlier),
or brand-new with tags still attached. (Not worn).
- Prescription Drugs and Devices: We don’t accept
contact lenses, drugs, or medical equipment that requires a
prescription.
- Soiled, Broken, or Incomplete Items
- Adult Material: We only accept pre-1980 Playboy and
vintage “girly” magazines.
- Used Computer Printers: (we cannot thoroughly test)
- Wedding Dresses: These generally don’t sell very
well on eBay.
- Autographed items without a COA (Certificate of
Authenticity): These generally don’t sell very well on eBay.
All items must be legal for sale on eBay (no counterfeits,
